Unidentified man washes ashore at Boca Chica Beach

BOCA CHICA BEACH, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A body was found Sunday morning at Boca Chica Beach, U.S. Border Patrol officials say.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., Mexican authorities alerted Cameron County officials and Border Patrol regarding a possible drowning victim from a Matamoros beach, according to Border Patrol officials.

At approximately 9 a.m., a Border Patrol agent found a body washed ashore at Boca Chica Beach. Authorities say the body is a man; however, his identity has yet to be confirmed.
