TxDOT: Overnight closures in place for I-2 overpass work

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Motorists are advised to be cautious of upcoming overhead bridge work along I-2 in Pharr and McAllen.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, nightly work on the overhead bridge along I-2 in Pharr and McAllen will require road closures of underpasses along Jackson Road, U.S. Business 83 and Jackson Avenue.

The closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, June 3 through Saturday, June 9.

Detour signs will be in place to direct drivers through alternate routes.
