TxDOT: McAllen to Edinburg overpass closed due to morning crash

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Drivers are asked to find an alternate route following an early morning crash on the Pharr Interchange.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the McAllen to Edinburg overpass is currently closed.

Photos from TxDOT show a tractor trailer colliding with the bumper of another vehicle.

First responders are working to clear the area and reopen the overpass.
