TxDOT: High winds damage traffic sign in Laguna Vista

LAGUNA VISTA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation is alerting drivers of a damaged traffic signal in Laguna Vista. Authorities suspect strong winds to be the culprit of the damage.

The damaged signal, located before the intersection of FM 510 and SH 100, can be seen tilting downwards.

According to TxDOT, damage to the signal was likely caused by strong winds.

Officials are asking drivers to slow down and stay alert in this area.
