MCALLEN, Texas – Two irrigation districts in the Rio Grande Valley have merged. The two are: Hidalgo County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3, and Santa Cruz Water Control and Improvement District No. 15.
The new name for the combined districts is: Hidalgo County Consolidated Water Control and Improvement District.
