HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Texas State Technical College in Harlingen hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for two new facilities on Thursday.
The ceremony marks the opening of the Electrical Lineworker Technology building and the Transportation Technologies Center, which are part of a $40 million expansion funded through the Capital Construction Assistance Projects under Senate Bill 52.
The new facilities include a nearly 84,000-square-foot technology facility for Automotive and Diesel Equipment programs and a 7,000-square-foot building for the Electrical Lineworker and Management program.
