TSC to host annual mariachi festival

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Texas Southmost College will present its annual Mariachi Festival.

In its second year, the festival offers educational opportunities, a showcase of talent, and the promotion of mariachi education. The festival will be held on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, at the Texas Southmost College campus.

Saturday evening's Grand Concert will feature performances by winners of the student mariachi competitions, Mariachi Margaritas, University of Houston's Mariachi Pumas, and headliners Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles.

Attendees can look forward to an unforgettable experience filled with entertainment and cultural enrichment.
