Truck being towed rolls over on expressway

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A truck being towed on the expressway in Harlingen became unhooked and ended up rolling over on the highway.

Harlingen police say the accident happened on the northbound lanes near Valle Vista Mall around 7 p.m.

A truck was being towed when it became unhooked. The truck then hit the concrete barrier which caused it to roll over onto its side, according to police spokesman Larry Moore.

Harlingen police and the Harlingen Fire Department were at the scene assisting with the incident.

Moore said no one was in the vehicle when the accident happened and no injuries were reported.
