Traffic rerouted after 18-wheeler jackknifes in Raymondville

RAYMONDVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene after an 18-wheeler jackknifed.

The incident took place on southbound IH-69E and FM 490 on Friday evening.

According to a news release from the Willacy County Sheriff's Office, traffic is being diverted to the southbound Frontage to the FM 490 exit.

The Willacy County Sheriff's Office, Raymondville Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety are on the scene.

Motorists are advised to slow down for first responders who are on the scene.
