Toddler involved in Los Fresnos crash dies toxicology results pending

LOS FRESNOS, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Authorities are still awaiting toxicology results following a now fatal Los Fresnos accident that took place late June.

According to a previous ValleyCentral article, at approximately 7:57 p.m. on June 22, authorities responded to a major two-vehicle crash at the 600 block of East High 100.

The crash left a 22-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman and a 2 year old in critical condition.

On June 28, the toddler succumbed to their injuries, Los Fresnos Police Chief Hector Gonzalez told ValleyCentral.

The mother of the child is currently recovering from her injuries, authorities say.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and toxicology results are pending.
