BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Texas Southmost College welcomed counselors from across Region One districts to spend three days touring the campus for the TSC Ambassador Program.
Over three days, the conference provides counselors with firsthand knowledge of the resources and opportunities available to their dual credit students.
"It's kind of getting the word out about the Allied Health Division and the EMS program at Texas Southmost College, letting the folks that are going to be talking to the high school kids about who we are, what we offer, and trying to get the word out there about the EMS education," said Gilberto Alcala, Program Director for EMS Education at Texas Southmost College.
In addition to the EMS Program, the conference highlighted a mock trial at the Ruben Herrera Legal Center, Auto Body Repair, and Construction Management.
