HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Texas A&M University discussed the upcoming Texas A&M 5K event, which aims to promote community service and public health.
The event includes a 5K run and a health fair with over 15 services, such as glucose checks, cholesterol checks, and vision screenings.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Registration is available until 10 a.m. on the day of the event. Discounts are offered for military, educators, first responders, and college students.
The proceeds will fund community health initiatives and student organizations.
The event is part of National Public Health Week, emphasizing prevention.
