Suspect arrested in connection to body found behind Harlingen watermill

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man has been arrested in connection with a body found behind the Watermill Express in Harlingen, police say.

Harlingen PD say evidence collected during the investigation led to this arrest.

The suspect has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man found dead Monday morning, at the 1500 block of N. 77 Sunshine Strip.

On Thursday, police identified the man found as Stephen Miguel Guajardo, 32,

The suspect has not been identified and is currently in custody at the Harlingen City Jail.

The suspect is being charged with a collision involving personal injury or death, according to the Harlingen PD.

Police say additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
