Sunny Glenn hosts free Fatherhood Festival in Brownsville

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Fatherhood Festival at Sunny Glenn Children's Home aims to celebrate and support the vital role fathers play in their children's lives.

The event is set for June 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Event in Brownsville. It will feature vendors like RGV Dads, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge, who will offer community services, games, prizes, and therapy dogs.

The festival is free and open to all, including foster and adoptive dads.

Sunny Glenn was established in 1936 and provides a family model for children from difficult backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of strong father-child relationships.
