Sunny Glen hosts 11th Incredible Kidz 5K/1 mile color run

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Joseph Albury with Sunny Glen Children's Home discusses its 11th Incredible Kidz 5K/1 Mile Color Fun Run.

The event is a fundraiser to support the foster children of Sunny Glen. Registration is free for the first 200 children under 12, with a $15 fee for additional participants.

Volunteers are needed to throw dye at runners. The event starts at 8 a.m. with a 5K run for adults, followed by a one-mile run for children.

Sunny Glen aims to provide a safe, respectful environment for foster children, ensuring they have the same opportunities as other children.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 20, at McKelvey Park in Harlingen.
