MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Independent School District reported an altercation at McAllen High School caused the campus to be places on lockdown Monday morning.
The altercation involved two students and occurred around 8:20 a.m. One student was transported to an area hospital, and a second student was taken into custody.
The McHi campus was placed on lockdown during the situation.
A spokesperson for the district said classes have since resumed and no other details have been released at this time.
