HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The South Texas Health System Children's will have its annual Children's Fall Festival on Friday.
Tom Castañeda with STHS spoke about their event and what to expect.
"This is one of the biggest events of the spooky season in Hidalgo County. We get about 6,000 kids and families that attend this event. We have about 50 booths that are going to be decorated to the nines. We have themes that our organizations, our facilities and our community businesses are all participating and they're decorating their booths. It's a big contest that they have, but it's all trick or treating," said Castañeda.
Activities include:
• Trick-or-treating
• Interactive games
• Carnival rides
• Food trucks
Mark your calendars for Oct. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the South Texas Health System Children’s Main Parking Lot at 1102 W. Trenton Rd. in Edinburg.
