BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — SpaceX will launch another Starship in "about 3 weeks," according to Elon Musk.
On X, Musk told Ye (formerly Kanye West), that the next Starship launch may only be weeks away.
"Starship were meant to fly and our next one launches in about 3 weeks, but I recommend waiting for a few more test flights before hopping on board," Musk said, while also tagging Nicki Minaj.
The Starship and Super Heavy booster were moved to the launch pad at Starbase last week.
On April 20, SpaceX launched its first Starship test flight, which self-destructed over the Gulf of Mexico four minutes after launch. SpaceX stated that multiple engines on the 33-engine booster were not firing, causing the rocket to lose altitude and begin tumbling.
On Nov. 18, SpaceX launched its second test flight of Starship, which successfully lifted off and made it through stage separation.
Following separation, communication was suddenly lost, and the ship's self-destruct system blew it up over the Gulf of Mexico, according to the Associated Press.
“With a test like this, success comes from what we learn, and today’s test will help us improve Starship’s reliability as SpaceX seeks to make life multiplanetary,” the SpaceX website reads.
ValleyCentral will provide updates as the next Starship launch nears.
