Starr County man arrested after allegedly shining light at DPS aircraft

RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Rio Grande City resident was arrested earlier this week for allegedly shining a light toward a Texas Department of Public Safety aircraft.

Prisciliano Jimenez, 38, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, illuminating of an aircraft by intense light and tampering with physical evidence.

The incident took place at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Jimenez has since been transported to a Starr County Jail.
