Spurs Stephon Castle named rookie of the year

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The NBA announced it has named Stephon Castle from the San Antonio Spurs as this year's Rookie of the Year.

Castle was crowned the 2024-25 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

The guard averages 14 points, three rebounds and four assists per game with an average playing time of 26 minutes, according to ESPN.

Castle is just 20 years old and was born in Covington, Georgia. He is a UConn graduate standing at 6'6".
