SpaceX to host firework display at Boca Chica Beach

BOCA CHICA BEACH, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Starbase is inviting the public to an inaugural 4th of July fireworks celebration right on the beach.

The event will be hosted by Senator Adam Hinojosa, Representative Janie Lopez and SpaceX.

SpaceX will host the event at 7 p.m. right on Boca Chica Beach. Locals are encouraged to bring their cars onto the beach to see the firework display.

At 7 p.m. there will be a live band performance, followed by welcoming remarks from Hinojosa and Lopez at 7:55 p.m.

At 8:45 p.m., the fireworks display will begin. Additionally, there will be a second band performance at 10 p.m.

SpaceX will not be selling any food or beverages at the location.

"Attendees are encouraged to bring their own refreshments. Temporary restrooms and a water station will be set up and available on the beach," the space company wrote.
