SpaceX targets Sunday for 10th Starship flight test

STARBASE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — SpaceX has announced it will be targeting to launch its 10th Starship flight test on Sunday.

The anticipated Starship launch is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, from Starbase, according to a news release from SpaceX.

SpaceX warns residents in Cameron County and in nearby areas that they may hear loud noise because of the rocket's 33 Raptor engines firing up upon ignition and as the ship launches towards space.

The launch is weather-permitted, among other conditions.
