Southern Career Institutes partners for flood relief in Texas

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Southern Career Institutes in Pharr is accepting donations to help the Hill Country flood victims.

On July 17, donations will be accepted in all SCI campuses, including Harlingen and Brownsville. Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

The following items will be accepted for donations:

• Full size toothbrushes
• Full size toothpaste
• Travel size shampoo
• Travel size conditioner
• Hand sanitizer
• Wet wipes
• Bar soap/body gash
• Gum

The SCI Pharr campus will be utilizing its 18-wheeler for training purposes to deliver all the donated items to the affected areas.

The donation deadline is July 31.
