South Texas ISD to host Spring Showcase

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The South Texas ISD Medical Professions is an open-enrollment, tuition-free magnet school that offers hands-on instruction.

Also known as Medical Academy, it is located in San Benito. Opened in 2003 as South Texas Academy of Medical Technology, it changed its name in 2012 to South Texas Academy for Medical Professions.

In 2015 it relocated to Olmito to a bigger campus to serve students interested in pursuing careers in health care.

South Texas ISD Medical Professions would like to invite students to its Spring Showcase in San Benito on April 13.
