EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — South Texas Health System and the Texas Department of Public Safety on Wednesday helped spread Christmas cheer to children in need across South Texas.
The inaugural Troopers, Toys & Teddy Bears Toy Donation Drive met at the main lobby of South Texas Children's Hospital in Edinburg encouraging employees across the system's 12 facilities to donate toys for the noble cause.
Through Friday, Dec. 20, toys valued at a $5 minimum can be dropped off at donation boxes at the following STHS locations:
- South Texas Health System McAllen, 301 W. Expressway 83
- South Texas Health System Heart, 1900 South D. St., McAllen
- South Texas Health System Edinburg, 1102 W. Trenton Rd.
- South Texas Health System Children's, 1102 W. Trenton Rd., Edinburg
