South Texas Health System discusses Gallbladder disease

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Gallbladder disease is on the rise and there are about 200 million people around the world who have gallbladder disease in the United States. However, health experts say the estimate is more like 25%.

But some people also get gallstones and they are the most common type of gallbladder disease.

On Sunday's episode of South Texas Healthy Living Dr. Ingrid Chacon, a gastroenterologist, will discuss the risk factors and the warning signs of this disease.
