South Texas Comic Con: Meet stars, cosplayers, and fans

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The weekend's fun continues at the South Texas Comic Con.

Many comic enthusiasts are lining up to visit pop-up shops and meet their favorite actors, voice actors, artists, authors, and cosplayers.

Fans filled up the convention wearing their favorite merch or cosplaying as their favorite character to gear up for the STXCC cosplay contest to showcase their creativity and craft.

Big stars such as Mexican-American comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, actor David Hasselhoff, and Juliette Lewis will be in attendance.

Other featured guests include:

• Luis Carreño, a Spanish voice actor known for his roles as Bob Esponja in the Spanish Dubbed series Spongebob SquarePants, Perro from CatDog, Justice League and many more.
• Dee Snider, a singer, songwriter, actor and screenwriter.
• Juliette Lewis from Yellowjackets, MA, From Dusk Till Dawn, and more.
• Theo Rossi, known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy, The Penguin and more.
• Emilio Rivera, known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C., Venom, Flamin’ Hot and more.
• JD Pardo, most known for his role in Twilight, Mayans M.C., High Potential and more.
• Valente Rodriguez, Edinburg native who brought to life the roles of Ernie in the comedy series George Lopez, Cesar in Happily Divorced, Principal Gutierrez in High School Musical The Musical The Series and more.
