Solis Mammography teams up with Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Starting Monday, the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville will operate as Solis Mammography.

The nation's largest independent provider of specialized breast health services announced a new strategic partnership with Valley Regional Medical Center to expand screening and diagnostic breast imaging services to Brownsville and the lower Rio Grande Valley region, according to a news release.

"Valley Regional Medical Center and Solis Mammography are committed to providing high-quality, patient-focused care to the women of the Rio Grande Valley," said Joe Hernandez, CEO of Valley Regional Medical Center. "Together, we will deliver an enhanced focus on breast health to the communities we serve and the peace of mind that comes from having an exceptional experience."

With nearly 40 years of service, patients in the Rio Grande Valley will immediately be able to experience the latest in innovative technology, including the integration of groundbreaking AI software with 3D mammography for greater accuracy and earlier-stage cancer detection.

The news center is located at 100 E. Alton Gloor Blvd., Suite 320, Building C, in Brownsville and is accepting new patients.
