MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man who confessed to robbing a church in Mission was arraigned.
Noe Garza, 56, appeared before a judge for breaking into a church in Mission and stealing items valued at $4,050.
He was given a $10,000 bond.

Garza confessed to the burglary which happened April 9 at the 6700 block of Navaho St. in rural Mission.
At the scene, responding deputies spoke with the victim, who reported several items were missing from the church’s storage room.
Deputies noted signs of forced entry into the storage room.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office shared a list of what was stolen from the church.
- A drum set
- Sound equipment
- Two air conditioning units
- 20 metal chairs
Witnesses reported several men loading the items onto a suspect vehicle that was identified through surveillance footage.
The footage led investigators to the stolen property, which was found approximately two miles from the church at a residence on the 8000 block of W. Military Rd.
Investigators recovered and returned all the stolen items.
Garza remains jailed at the Hidalgo County Adult Detention Center.
