Several hospitalized, including San Juan officer in 4-vehicle crash

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A major crash involving a San Juan Police unit left an officer and several people hospitalized this afternoon.

Officers from the Pharr Police Department responded to a four-vehicle crash near the intersection of N. Veterans Blvd. and E. Sioux Rd.

The crash happened at 3:15 p.m. and involved a San Juan Police Unit.

Multiple people involving the officer in the crash were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area as crews are working to clear the crash debris from the road.

The Pharr Police Department is investigating this crash.
