Second suspect arrested in Edinburg murder case

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the murder of a man whose body was found Friday, authorities say.

Samuel Uvalle Sr., 47, was arrested Saturday at the 1400 block of Quitaca Dr. in Edinburg by the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office Investigators and the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force

This comes after the body of an unidentified man whose body was found Friday near the 4600 block of Wisconsin Road.

Uvalle was booked into the county jail and is the second person arrested by HCSO Investigators on this case — the first being 43-year-old Jesus Grijalva.

Investigators continue to search 35-year-old Roberto Salas, who is also wanted for his involvement in this case.
