BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) – Sebastian ‘El Trueno’ Juarez gets set to main-event the professional boxing card at the Harlingen Convention Center.
Juarez is off to a 3-0 record since his pro debut in August 2023. He will square off with Jeremy Joseph Duhon, who will be making his pro debut.
While Juarez does not know much about Duhon, he made it clear that he will come out victorious.
“Just expect domination,” Juarez said. “Just expect all that hard work I put in this whole training camp, just expect it all in one fight, and it's going to be amazing. I can promise you that. I can promise you it's going to be a victory. I can promise you it's going to be amazing and not just for me but for everyone else on the card.”
Jose ‘El Mudo’ Tamez will be featured in the co-main event leading up to Juarez’s bout. Tamez (4-0) will go toe-to-toe with Juan Alberto Flores (2-3-1) in the bantamweight division.
Tamez expects a step up in competition with Flores. However, it’s a challenge he is ready to embrace.
“This is a new step. It's a new challenge for me,” Tamez said. “This guy has been fighting guys that are better, so this guy's going to be a challenge to me, and I'll give it my all. This is a new step, a new beginning, and I’m ready to show you guys what I can do.”
The boxing card will take place on Feb. 24. Doors at the Harlingen Convention Center will open at 6:00 p.m.
