SCSO: 249lbs of marijuana seized from abandoned vehicle

STARR COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Starr County Sheriff's Office seized several bundles of marijuana on Friday.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the community of El Refugio.

Upon arrival, deputies found 249 pounds of marijuana inside the abandoned vehicle, according to a press release.

Arrests are to be expected as SCSO leads the investigation, the release stated.
