Sandcastle Days returns to South Padre Island

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The 37th annual Sandcastle Days is underway at South Padre Island.

Each year, artists from the Rio Grande Valley and around the world come together to showcase their sand sculptures to visitors.

The free event will also feature live bands, food, drinks, and fireworks.

Sandcastle Days kicked off Thursday, Oct. 2, and will continue through Sunday, Oct. 5, at Clayton's Bar and Grill, 6900 Padre Blvd.
