San Benito to open up splash pad this weekend

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of San Benito announces the Splash Pad at First Responders Community Park will be open Friday through Sunday.

According to the city, due to current drought conditions, the splash pad will only be operational on those days 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

These adjustments, the city says, are necessary to balance its desire to serve the community while conserving water for essential needs.
