San Benito PD need help identifying alleged car thief

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The San Benito Police Department is asking for the public's help after two cars were reported stolen last week.

According to police the same woman crossed both vehicles into Mexico through the Hidalgo bridge. She was seen in the attached photos with both cars.

If you recognize this woman, the San Benito Police Department asks that you come forward and identify her.

The public is urged not to approach the woman if encountered but to contact police at (956) 361-3880 for assistance.

There has been a trend of stolen vehicles such as Chevrolet, GMC and Dodge / Jeep brand SUV's and trucks in the region, according to police.
