San Benito mayor to deliver inaugural state of the city address

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of San Benito is hosting its inaugural state of the city address Thursday evening.

San Benito Mayor Ricardo Guerra is marking a new chapter for the city and is anticipated to talk about major accomplishments and outline goals for the upcoming year.

These goals include investing in road paving. economic development, cultural arts and enhanced public services for the residents of historic San Benito.

A livestream of the address can be viewed in this article at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The event will take place at the San Benito Cultural Heritage Museum.
