SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — San Benito police arrested a man for his alleged involvement in a drug distribution ring happening in the city, according to a news release from the San Benito Police Department.
On Oct. 17, San Benito PD Special Investigative Unit and K-9 Division arrested Jose Luis Garza on charges of manufacturing/delivering/possession of a controlled substance.
Investigators were given information that Garza was behind a drug distribution ring in the city, according to the news release.

Inside Garza's residence, authorities found and seized the following:
- 1,894 grams of Cocaine (Man / Del Controlled Substance PG1, $250,000 Bond)
- 76 grams of Hydrocodone (Man / Del Controlled Substance PG3, $200,000 Bond)
- 46 grams of Alprazolam (Man / Del Controlled Substance PG3, $200,000 Bond)
- 3.9 lbs. of Marijuana (Possession of Marijuana, $50,000 Bond)
- 22 grams of THC (Man / Del Controlled Substance PG3, $250,000 Bond)
Garza was booked and issued a total bond of $950,000.
