San Benito City Service Center hosts pet vaccine clinic

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Pet parents, listen up! The City of San Benito, alongside Paws and Claws Veterinary Clinic, is hosting its annual vaccine clinic for its residents' pets.

The vaccine clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 5, at the San Benito City Service Center, located at 925 West Stenger Street.

The clinic will be offering vaccines for dogs and cats who need flea/tick and heartworm prevention medication.

The following are the prices for the dog vaccines:

• Rabies vaccines will be offered at $14.
• Bordetella medication will be offered at $35.
• DHPP vaccines will be offered at $35.
• Deworming medication will be offered at $10.
• Heartworm tests will be offered at $20.
• Rattlesnake will be offered at $25.

The following are the prices for the cat vaccines:

• Rabies vaccines will be offered at $ 14.
• FVRCP vaccines will be offered at $35.
• FeLV vaccines will be offered at $35.

Flea/tick and heartworm prevention prices are offered at the following:

• Quattro (Dog Flea, Tick & Heartworm Prevention, any size) is offered at $40.
• Credelio (Dog Flea & Tick, any size) is offered at $30.
• Interceptor Plus (Dog Heartworm Prevention, any size) is offered at $17.
• Selarid (Cat Flea, Tick & Heartworm Prevention, any size) is offered at $20.

City officials state that the vaccine clinic is offered for residents to have the opportunity to keep their pets healthy at an affordable price.
