SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of San Benito announced its regular city commission meeting has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.
The meeting was initially scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 1.
According to the City of San Benito, the meeting has been rescheduled to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, as a special city commission meeting.
The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Cameron and Willacy Counties until 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Several inches of rain are expected to fall throughout San Benito and in nearby cities.
