San Benito begins mosquito control operations

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The city of San Benito announced it will be spraying for mosquitos in the early morning and late night when mosquitos are most active.

The city's news release said spraying will begin with Zone 1 and continue daily through each respective zone.

The city will continue to actively spray mosquitos on public streets until the mosquito population decreases.

Larvicide is being used in areas with standing water, according to the city.
