SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Colombian Urban artist, Ryan Castro, released a song and music video featuring Grammy award-winning Mexican Regional music artists Grupo Frontera.

Sand from the dunes on South Padre Island is near Highway 100.

The newly released single titled "APODO," produced by McAllen native Edgar Barrera, features a mix of norteño instrumental mixed with "laid-back" reggae, making a perfect blend of both artists' musical influences.

The song can be described as a mixture of a known slow-norteño dance beat, with lyrics of a heartbroken relationship, detailing how they felt during and after the relationship ended.

The music video was shot near the famous "Road Ends" signage in South Padre Island.

In the music video, the artists were seen performing near the road closed signs at the end of Highway 100 and on the SPI beaches.

Additionally, following the release of the music video and single, Castro announced his pre-sale tickets for his U.S. leg of his SENDE World Tour.

The SENDE U.S. leg tour will kick off on Oct. 10 in Los Angeles, CA., and wrap up on Nov. 15 in New York, NY.

The music video is available to watch on YouTube and the song is available to stream on all streaming platforms.
