ROMA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An employee with the City of Roma is in the hospital after he was rescued from a work accident, according to the Starr County Sheriff's Office.
Starr County deputies responded to Fronton on FM 650, located approximately five miles from Roma city limits.
Deputies were assisted by first responders to extract a Roma Public Utilities from an area that caved in as employees conducted routine maintenance in the area.
According to Starr County, the man has been safely extracted.
