PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Motorists are advised to prepare for upcoming road closures caused by the I-2 / I-69C Interchange Project.
The day and nightly closures will take place from April 7 through April 13.
In a news release from the I-2 / I-69C Interchange Project, the daytime road closures will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations:
- Segments of the southbound I-69C frontage road between Nolana Loop and I-2, in Pharr.
- Segments of the eastbound I-2 frontage road between the Sugar Road exit ramp, in Pharr, and Cesar Chavez Road, in San Juan.
The nightly road closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the following locations:
- Segments of the eastbound I-2 frontage road between U.S. Business 83, in McAllen, and Cesar Chavez Road, in San Juan.
- Segments of the westbound I-2 frontage road between Veterans Boulevard and U.S. Business 83, in Pharr.
- Southbound I-2 frontage road between SH495 and I-2, in Pharr.
The entrance and exit ramps within the listed closures will be intermittently closed while construction work is taking place.
