RioPlex in Houston – An interview with Patrick McDonnell 

HOUSTON, Texas – RioPlex hosted its “Texas Port to the Stars Foreign Direct Investment Summit” at the Westin Galleria in Houston on April 10th, 2025. 

It was the first time the region – the Rio Grande Valley and northern Tamaulipas – had promoted itself at a summit held outside its boundaries. 

One of the attendees was Patrick McDonnell, CEO of VTX1 Internet. During the summit, the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service secured an exclusive video interview with McDonnell.
