RGV Vipers Back to School Expo offers free supplies, health checks

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Alfred Molina from Driscoll Health Plan and Fang from the RGV Vipers discuss the annual Back to School Expo at the RGV Arena in Hidalgo.

The event offers free school supplies, including 3,000 backpacks, vaccinations, memory exams, liver screenings, and health checks.

Special entrances are available for children with disabilities, and a fast-pass lane is provided for vaccines and sports physicals. The event is free, open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 23, with early entry for children with disabilities.

Various mascots will be present, and haircuts will be available. The community is encouraged to attend and support children's educational needs.
