HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Morning anchor Sandy Torres is joined by RGV Crowns players Jack Crichton and Juan Valencia Vacca. Both players discuss their experiences with the newly formed soccer club and highlight their success.
Crichton mentions the challenges of playing two games in one week and the importance of individual performances, while Juan emphasized the team's strong chemistry and camaraderie.
"We had three away games. We had two in Dallas, which was tough for the guys. We played on Saturday morning and Sunday evening. So that was tough on the fatigue, but we managed to come back with the nine points on the road, which was amazing. But in general, the forms have been really good," said Crichton.
"We have a really good chemistry, we know each other well. I'm the newest in the team, like one of the newest. Everyone is friendly, and it's been amazing," added Vacca.
Both players shared their favorite local dishes and talked about their homesickness. They concluded by inviting fans to support the team in their upcoming game against the Fort Worth Revolution, to secure a win and qualify for the playoffs.
