RGV native in attendance at DNC

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Plenty of Texas Democrats are in Chicago on Tuesday for the Democratic National Convention, including one from the Rio Grande Valley.

Luciano Garza from Weslaco says he was a delegate for President Biden back in 2020 and he says he stands behind Vice President Kamala Harris 100%.

"We all immediately got behind Kamala Harris," said Garza. "She's fighting for our freedoms, she's fighting for our families and she's fighting for our future."

Garza added that he is ready to continue working to achieve the goals that the convention has set back in the Valley.
