RGV College celebrates inaugural graduation of Registered Nurse program

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — RGV College celebrated the first-ever graduation ceremony of students with the Registered Nurse Apprenticeship program.

The graduation was held on Thursday morning at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance.

RGV College partnered with DHR Health to offer the program, providing students with hands-on clinical training and mentorship.

Twelve students walked the stage at the program's inaugural graduation.

"We're always taking chances for the betterment of careers in our students, especially in the nursing field," said Annabelle Palomo, CEO and College President of RGV College. "We're very blessed."

The graduation marks a milestone in the Rio Grande Valley.

"In the Rio Grande Valley, this cohort is the first group to complete such a program," Palomo said. "This is only going to get better for our community."
