GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - After days of rumors swirling around Dallas Cowboys superstar pass-rusher Micah Parsons, the Green Bay Packers are reportedly pulling the trigger.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the Packers are sending a pair of first-round picks to the Cowboys. NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero followed up, reporting that the Packers are expected to send a player to Dallas as well.
Rapoport added that the Packers are reportedly sending defensive lineman Kenny Clark south to Dallas as the player in the deal.
The Packers are reportedly paying him $47 million a year on a 4-year, $188 million deal.
Micah Parsons himself posted on social media with the iconic chant "GO PACK GO!"
The reported trade comes about four weeks after Parsons requested a trade out of Dallas after negotiations on an extension to stay with the Cowboys broke down.
The superstar pass rusher won the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021.
